A Textile Tour of Thailand and Laos

Our member Lois Kershner went on a tour of Thailand and Laos and turned her sketches and photos into this fantastic book. She has stitched vingettes, and attached objects that she found and purchased along the way. What a delightful memory book this is!

Don't be a Square, Stitch a Square!

At our March 2005 meeting, pieces of canvas were given to volunteers to stitch for a new community outreach project. There is a 6-inch squares drawn on the canvas, and the stitcher can create whatever she wants--there are no rules! Use your imagination, use your stash, use your creativity!

May 2006 Update: We have 12 squares sashed and ready to be made into 12-inch pillows.
